Can Genetically modified crops remove world hunger or sustainable agriculture. Common man myth today is that current agriculture produce is inadequate to feed Earth's burdgeoning population.I looked at vast corn fields in Nebraska-and was surprised to find all that corn produce would go to either High Fructose Corn Syrup or to feed Pigs,Cattle which are to be killed for human consumption.
Meanwhile,poor people in Mexico have protested against high rising corn tortilla prices as most of the corn produce in Mexico is going for Ethanol production.
Is turning primarily vegetarian the answer then?
